I’ve had the opportunity to work with Jeff in different capacities over the years. The most impactful was during my time working at Property Pros. I had been a freelance lance designer for a while before Jeff recruited me to his design team. Transitioning from a business owner to a teammate in a large company is not easy, and coaching me through it was a task Jeff was ready and prepared for. In addition to covering sales goals and project updates during weekly one on one’s, Jeff encourage me to read books on leadership and self development. Besides discussing the topics in the books we also discussed how to apply them to real life situations in both professional and personal scenarios. More often than not we discussed how I could have handled a situation better and with more grace. Which was not always fun, but it was very insightful. Although Jeff was technically my supervisor he was more like a mentor, and took the task of helping me and the entire team succeed very seriously- and with more patience than I knew was humanly possible. My time at Property Pros was short as my family and I relocated to another state, but during those 15 months I learned so much and was able to create a foundation of new habits and leadership skills that I have continued to build on and develop over the years.
